NEW! Dance as an Offering
Workshop in Lanna Dance and Movement

In Lanna (Northern Thai) culture, performances and all forms of artmaking are considered a sacred offering to the natural and ancestral spirits. This workshop gives students movement fundamentals of Lanna dance, providing them with the essential skills for personal and image-based dance expression rooted in Lanna visual and performing arts and culture. Traditional hand gestures, dance steps, body image postures, and fluid, graceful movements are combined with contemporary, individualistic performance exercises to express and deepen inner spiritual awareness.

Available as a one-time workshop or ongoing class.
